Hours: ToursWeekdays every half hour, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; weekends and most holidays at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m.
Tours
  • Free guided tours take 30 to 45 minutes, up to 40 guests per tour. Book ahead; walk-ins are welcome when space allows. Arrive 15 minutes early and check in at the information desk.

Getting in
  • Weekdays: enter at the East Wing on Commonwealth Avenue (by the fountain; accessible entrance), the Main Rotunda at Third and State streets, or the North Office Building (closes at 3 p.m.). Weekends and most holidays: Main Rotunda entrance.
